Mineral Terminal of Mittal Steel Begins Operations

On December 21st, 2009, was held the beginning of operations of the specialized terminal for handling Iron Ore, owned steelmaker Arcelor Mittal, with the arrival at the port of Guaymas of the bulk carrier with Mexican flag with higher capacity that has registered in the National Port System, the boat "Mexico City", which robbery on the south side of the port.

The boat was flagged in recent days at the port of Lázaro Cárdenas, in the presence of various authorities in the field; with the start of this operation will cover a biweekly route between the port of Lázaro Cárdenas Michoacán and the Port of Guaymas, Sonora.
